A breakdown of this series by date of production is not presently available. According to BEP records, notes of this series were delivered to the Federal Reserve between September 1957 and December 1960.
The table below shows the serial number ranges produced for the regular and star notes in this series. Serial numbering does not begin at 00000001A in each district, but rather continues on from the last serial used for Series 1950A.

Star Notes |
Many partial runs with internal gaps exist in the star notes, but in most cases it is not known exactly which runs are partial or exactly how long the gaps are. Many of the star note serial ranges and printage totals given here are thus rather rough estimates.
In each of districts D, G, and K, the first run of star notes is known to have gaps, because some of the serials in these gaps were used for Series 1950A star notes. Thus some 1950A stars have higher serials than some 1950B stars in these districts.
