The numbers in the table are the first and last notes printed in the given month for the given FRB. In some cases, consecutive months have been merged due to fragmentary BEP data available. Serial numbering does not begin at 00000001A in each district, but rather continues on from the last serial used for Series 1969B. All complete blocks run from 00000001 to 99999999, with the 100,000,000th note replaced by a star note.

The monthly data shown here is from a single secondary source and may be doubtful in places, especially regarding the timing of some of the star runs.

Run #5 of the Atlanta star notes was serialled incorrectly. It was a partial run of 8000 sheets, and was presumably the last run of 1969C $20's printed, using up the remaining available sheets of the series. But instead of being numbered with gaps between positions as was usual for partial star runs in this era, it was numbered as if it were a full run of 8000 sheets, as was typically used for the $50 and $100 denominations at the time. It thus received serials F 010 24001 * through F 012 80000 *, much lower than intended, duplicating a serial range already used in Series 1969.

Monthly production data for this series is not presently available before January 1974. According to BEP records, notes of this series were delivered to the Federal Reserve between September 1972 and December 1974.

The table below shows the serial number ranges produced for the regular and star notes in this series. Notice that gaps of 160,000 serials occur frequently in the star notes; these are due to the print runs of mixed regular and star notes that are necessary to complete each block of regular notes (since 100,000,000 notes equals 156.25 print runs of 640,000 notes each).
