The numbers in the table are the first and last notes printed in the given month for the given FRB. Colors indicate notes printed at Washington, DC or Fort Worth, TX. All serial numbers in this series begin with D. Serial numbers above 96000000 are not used; thus for example DB96000000A is followed by DB00000001B.

Uncut sheets of star notes were released for this series, with serial numbers from the regular production ranges.

End Series 2003 $10

Something odd appears to have happened in the May 2005 production of Minneapolis $10's. The reported serial range, 06400001 to 12800000, comprises only a single print run; but both Washington-printed and Fort Worth-printed notes have been reported in this range. The BEP reports assign the range to Fort Worth, but it appears that the reality is rather less straightforward. If you have any notes from this print run, please report the serial number, production facility, and plate numbers to me; perhaps we can work out what actually happened here. Notes reported so far:

The list is now sorted by sheet number (i.e., the remainder when the serial number is divided by 200,000) rather than by serial number, segregating the DC and FW printings. The changeover seems to be near sheet 140,000 of the run. So FW would have printed the first 60,000 sheets or so (i.e., the highest 60,000 of each group of 200,000 serials within the run) in May 2005, and then DC would have finished the run, probably a few months later after DC had resumed $10 production. Actually, DC may not have finished the full run either; note that all sheet numbers reported so far are above 80,000. My best estimate is therefore that the run consisted of about 1,920,000 FW-printed notes and about 1,920,000 DC-printed notes, interspersed with about 2,560,000 unused serials; for the details, see the group list for this series. Additional reports would still be appreciated, especially if they do not agree with the estimated serial ranges in the group list.
