Note that for every district except C there is a gap in the range of serial numbers printed. In October 1983, the BEP increased the size of its standard press run, and serial numbering in each district was restarted at 00000001 of the next unused block.

The BEP reports never listed run #1 of the Atlanta star notes, instead starting with run #2 in the October 1984 report. I'm not sure whether the first run was actually skipped over, or just accidentally omitted from the reports.

Similarly, the BEP reports did not list runs #2 and #3 of the Kansas City stars, but notes from these runs have actually been observed, so I've added them to the table in approximately their correct location. The number of sheets in each run is uncertain, but based on the serials of observed notes, run #2 comprised at least 13000 sheets and run #3 comprised at least 4000 sheets.
